20 Sep Wind Energy heading for Rostock

With WindEurope reporting that Germany is on track to award 10GW of onshore wind capacity this year, we’re proud to play a role in bringing these projects to life. Next week, we’re gearing up for significant wind power projects at the Port of Rostock, featuring collaborations with Nordex and ENERCON.

While we’ll be handling several smaller vessels carrying between 9-15 blades, the spotlight will be on the Super Fast Levante, set to arrive on Sunday, 29.09.2024. This vessel, currently traveling from China to Spain, is transporting 33 blades and additional equipment.

What makes this operation unique is the combination of unloading methods we’ll be using—RoRo for some wind power components, and conventional handling for the blades. It’s another great example of our Rostock team’s flexibility and expertise in managing complex logistics for onshore wind projects.
