Decade-Long Vectron Locomotive Lifting Project Completed in Hanko

Euroports Finland has successfully completed a major long-term Vectron locomotive project at the Port of Hanko in partnership with Siemens Mobility, delivering 80 locomotives to VR Group since 2016.

Finalised in spring 2026, the project was executed fully on schedule with zero incidents, demonstrating Euroports’ ability to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance port operations for demanding project cargo.
