Are you a talented and driven Business Controller looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Business Controller. As a top-search candidate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our terminal operates within a sound control framework and executes an effective performance management process.
Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities of a Business Controller:
- Lead the planning and control cycle on the terminal, including monthly reporting, analysis, and corrective actions. All of these in close cooperation with accounting.
- Drive financial and operational performance appraisal, focusing on cost, cash, and operational drivers.
- Support value management in the asset by aligning priorities and deliverables with cash generation.
- Provide value insight for strategy reviews, business planning processes, project milestones, and contract management.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement projects with a focus on bottom-line impact.
- Assist in financial forecasting and planning, ensuring credibility, affordability, and competitiveness.
- Engage with commercial teams to optimize deals and align technical and financial aspects of agreements.
Profile
- Possess a strong business partnering
- Fluent in both Dutch and English.
- Proven to initiate cross-business/functional collaborations with a bottom-line focus.
- Demonstrated change management behaviors, including relationship building, influencing, flexible thinking, and creative problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of finance and business principles, with strong analytical skills.
- Preferably hold an academic degree in Finance or a related subject.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
