Europe’s largest independent bulk sugar terminal located in the heart of the sugar belt
Euroports has a leading position in the handling, storage, and containerized transportation of sugar. Our IFS-certified sugar terminal in Antwerp is located in the middle of the European sugar belt and right next to the main container terminals. It is the largest independent bulk sugar terminal in Europe, with fully automated loading and unloading capability for train, trucks, vessels, and containers.
The terminal handles both white and raw sugar and it has a temperature and humidity-controlled stock zone. Besides the storage, handling and transportation services, our terminals offer a comprehensive range of value-added services such as inspection & lab analysis (for quality control), sieving, bagging, stuffing in container and bulk container loading.
Recently one of the warehouses has been renewed for storage and handling of agribulk product (rapeseed) for an industrial client. The customer-dedicated location has a surface of 15.000 m².
The site is accessible to Panamax ships and it is neighbouring our container hub at quay 524 that allows for storage of containers and further truck or barge transport.
