04 Juin New Bulk Warehouse at Port-La Nouvelle: Euroports Expands Storage Capacity for Circular Economy Flows

Since 2022, Euroports has been operating at the commercial port of Port-La Nouvelle, in the Occitanie region of southern France. The terminal handles a range of commodities linked to the circular economy: collected glass, shredded tires, and biomass.

Today, Euroports is continuing its commitment and contributing to the development of this historic port with the construction of a new bulk warehouse.

A new warehouse to support traffic growth

Euroports has completed the construction of a new bulk warehouse at Port-La Nouvelle. The building stands 14 metres high and offers a storage capacity of 4,000 tonnes. This addition directly strengthens the terminal’s ability to absorb increasing volumes and provides more reliable buffer capacity for circular economy operators using the port.

Port-La Nouvelle: a port in active development

Port-La Nouvelle is a dynamic port on the French Mediterranean coastline. Beyond circular economy commodities, the port is undergoing significant infrastructure development to support offshore floating wind projects in the Mediterranean Sea.

The new bulk warehouse sits within this broader development trajectory. Each infrastructure investment — whether for bulk storage or wind component handling — contributes to the terminal’s long-term capacity and its ability to serve a wider range of clients and commodity types.
