Customer case study
We handle food-grade sugar at our dedicated sugar terminal in Antwerp, Belgium, in accordance with the highest quality standards. We follow the principles of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), and boast IFS accreditation.
We are proud of our strong track record of service to the European sugar industry. And we’re continually striving to enhance and expand our service offerings.
We recently finished expanding and further improving the terminal. In anticipation of the removal of the European export sugar quotas, we have recently made significant investments in our sugar terminals. These investments have resulted in greater storage and handling capacity, enhanced screening and metal detection, and more-modern sieving and bagging facilities. As a result, we are now even better able to meet the demands of the leading players in this industry. With the support of our global transport management division, Manuport Logistics, we can offer customers seamless end-to-end maritime supply-chain solutions by rail, road and inland waterway.
In addition to our facility in Antwerp, Belgium, we also handle sugar in Le Havre, France, while in Rostock, Germany, we have further facilities for handling sugar, for bagging, and for loading and unloading vessels.
