High Coast Project: Driving the Winds of Change
At Euroports, we are proud to be part of a journey towards a greener future. The High Coast Project in Sweden’s Västernorrlands province is not just about delivering wind power—it’s a story of innovation, precision, and global collaboration.
A Vision for Sustainability
Spanning four wind farms—Knäsjöberget (98 MW), Sörlidberget (140 MW), Vitberget (161 MW), and Storhöjden (154 MW)—this initiative will generate an impressive 553 MW of renewable energy, providing clean power to thousands of homes and businesses.
A Global Effort
From December 2024 to April/May 2025, the High Coast Project showcases the seamless cooperation of partners from around the world. We are proud to collaborate with Nordex on this project, a testament to their trust in our expertise and commitment to excellence.
- 80 wind towers with 460 segments, each weighing around 70 tonnes, are being transported with precision.
- Components have journeyed from Indonesia to our dedicated terminal in Rostock, supported by six overseas vessels.
- Our state-of-the-art Liebherr LHM 550 cranes ensure safe and efficient handling before onward transport to Sweden.
