14 Dec Green energy projects
At Euroports we do whatever it takes to boost the usage of green energy.
Wood chips
The Euroports Bulk Terminal (Rostock GmbH) regularly handles wood chips at berths 22 and 23 in the port of Rostock.
Last month we loaded a vessel again with wood chips and moved towards Scandinavia. The exported goods are used for biomass combined plants or pulp production.
Wood chips are not only an alternative to fossil fuels, but also an important raw material for the paper and wood-processing industry.
Our team of Euroports Bulk Terminal Rostock GmbH will be glad to manage the complete handling of these and other goods such as ores, iron ore, lime, building materials and many more for your imports and exports.
Wind turbines
Euroports in Germany has a lot of renewable energy projects every year and is a leading company of handling with wind turbines in the Baltic Sea region. In 2020, Euroports Rostock has already handled approx. 600 wind turbines.
Beside our wind turbine projects we are building a wind turbine on our terminal in Antwerp.
