Malaysia as the Strategic Gateway to Southeast Asia and Beyond

Located along the Straits of Malacca, Malaysia offers one of the most advantageous maritime positions in the world. From here, Euroports can provide direct access to Malaysia’s industrial heartlands while serving as a springboard for regional markets in Southeast Asia and India.

Northport offers scalable, multipurpose infrastructure with a 15-metre draft, 5,400 metres of quay and specialized berths for bulk, breakbulk, RORO and container cargo. This ensures the flexibility and efficiency that our customers need to grow and enables us to deliver tailored cargo handling and logistics solutions for forest products, fertilizers, minerals, metals, and other essential commodities.

First Cargo Movements and Commercial Outlook

The first containers with forest products are confirmed to arrive in Q4 2025 and, in parallel, breakbulk shipments are expected to commence during the same period, paving the way for full-scale operations.

This dual launch underlines Euroports’ commitment to developing Port Klang into a regional hub for forest products and (break)bulk cargo, leveraging synergies between Euroports’ global network and commodity expertise and Northport’s infrastructure.
