13 Jan Euroports Strengthens Port of Seville Operations Through Estibadora Sevillana Integration
Euroports has reinforced its operational capacity at the Port of Seville through the integration of Estibadora Sevillana, a company with extensive experience in port stevedoring operations. This strategic move consolidates Euroports Carbon Puerto’s position as a leading terminal operator, supporting increased cargo volumes at one of southern Europe’s most strategically positioned ports.
Enhanced Infrastructure and Operational Capacity
The integration significantly expands Euroports’ operational capabilities at the Port of Seville, strengthening its presence at the Carbón Puerto and Batán Norte terminals, where Euroports operates two quays with berth lengths of 145 meters and 660 meters respectively, covering a total surface area of approximately 113,000 square meters. The terminals include 19 warehouse modules and 30,000 square meters of covered storage facilities.
Operational capabilities are further reinforced by Estibadora Sevillana’s specialized equipment, resulting in an upgraded fleet that now includes four mobile cranes – among them a 124-ton-capacity crane – as well as additional dedicated handling machinery designed to efficiently and safely manage a wide range of cargo types, including fertilizers, steel products, cement, biomass, cereals, and project cargo.
