EFGL Integration was Completed!

Euroports is thrilled to announce the completion of the assembly of the third and final turbine for the EFGL pre-commercial floating offshore wind farm. 

Throughout this project, Euroports has played a central role in the turbine integration, overseeing logistics, lifting and handling operations with precision, safety, and efficiency while performing in a very restricted quay area of just 40 meters wide between EFGL berthed float and Eolmed in-construction floaters. All of this took place at our purpose-built Eolic Terminal right here in Port-La-Nouvelle.

This achievement was only possible thanks to the dedication of our skilled teams and the expertise of our trusted partners: Mammoet, Narval, Vulcain, and Foselev – cumulated approximately 14747 hours of work. Together, we adapted, problem-solved, and kept the project moving forward — even when weather and unforeseen challenges tested our resolve. 

Beyond the turbines themselves, the EFGL project has been a powerful learning experience, equipping us with insights and know-how that will fuel future offshore wind projects across France and Europe.
