04 Dec Alan Bog from Euroports takes over IFPTA Presidency

At the end of the Pulp & Paper International  (PPI) Transport Symposium, one of the major events in the pulp and paper transportation sector that took place this year in Savannah, Georgia, the United States, it was announced that Euroports’ Alan Blog would take over the Presidency of IFPTA. IFPTA is the International Forest Products Transport Association that organizes the biennial PPI together with the RISI. During the IFPTA Members luncheon he was able to announce that 2019 edition of the event will take place in Tarragona, Spain. The Port of Tarragona has become one of the fastest growing ports for paper and pulp not just in Spain, but also in the whole of Mediterranean area. Tarragona is Euroports’ important and growing pulp and paper terminal, so we are really looking forward to the next PPI Transport Symposium. Congratulations to Alan Bog on his assignment.
