Frédéric Platini
Chief Executive Officer
Frédéric Platini was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Euroports Group in 2019.
With over 20 years of experience in executive management in private sector, holding key roles in ES-KO International, Nectar group, as well as in public sector (Foreign Affairs) and international organisations (UNEP, UNFCCC) Frédéric is an accomplished executive with extensive business administration expertise. His network and experience spans across Europe, Asia and Africa.
Frédéric is responsible for steering Euroports’ business, with a particular focus on results, sustainability, and corporate culture.
In addition to his professional career, since 2014, Frédéric Platini is Secretary General of the Monaco Red Cross as volunteer.
Frédéric holds a Post Graduate Degree in Engineering.
Geert Gekiere
Group Chief Financial Officer
Geert Gekiere joined Euroports in 2012, first as Finance Director and from 2016 onward as Managing Director of Euroports Belgium and France. In this position he had full P&L responsibility for all Euroports activities and assets. This includes Business Finance, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Controlling, Planning & Appraisal, Tax, Internal Auditing, and Insurance
In 2019 Geert assumed the responsibility of CFO of the entire Euroports Group.
Before joining Euroports, he had several financial management positions with a number of domestic and foreign groups, including Vandermoortele, Neckermann Postorders and Thomas Cook.
Geert holds a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and tax from Zuid-West-Vlaanderen University and a postgraduate degree in corporate finance from Leu.
Lucrece Reybroeck
Group Chief Human Resources Officer
Lucrece Reybroeck joined Euroports in 2010 as CHRO and works closely with all business functions to ensure Corporate HR practices are implemented in areas including leadership growth, reward, culture, diversity and inclusion, learning and development and compliance.
Lucrece joined Euroports from DHL’s European headquarters and sales organization, where she led various complex business transformations and integration projects as HR Director. She has over 30 years of experience in the logistics industry.
Lucrece holds Master’s degrees in Law and Education from Ghent University, Belgium.
Patrick Biesdorf
Chief Corporate Development & Legal Officer
Patrick Biesdorf joined Euroports in 2007 as Corporate Lawyer, was appointed Group Legal Counselor 2011. He became a Member of the ExCom in 2014.
Before joining Euroports, Patrick worked as trainee solicitor (Rechtsreferendar) at Staab & Kollegen Law Firm in Germany and at William Fry Solicitors and Tax Advisors in Ireland.
Patrick started his career with Euroports at their offices in Luxembourg and relocated to the Netherlands in 2013. He is now based in Luxembourg and has played a key role in the consolidation of the corporate group structure (including mergers and acquisitions and joint-venture structures), the implementation of the corporate-financing structure, and numerous restructuring projects.
Patrick is a fully qualified German Lawyer (First and Second State Examination) with degrees and certifications from the University of Trier, Germany, and the Appellate Court of Saarbrücken, also in Germany.
Anthony Gu
Managing Director, Euroports China
Anthony (Yu) Gu has been the Managing Director of Euroports China since March 2022 while continuing his role as General Manager of Euroports Changshu. Additionally, he serves on the boards of various Chinese entities.
With 25 years of professional experience in business and operational development, Anthony was Euroports’ first local employee in China and has played a critical role in its growth. He has advanced through the organization in several roles and has been a pivotal member of the China Executive Committee for over a decade, leading major business development projects in Changshu, Gaolan, and other locations.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance from Heriot-Watt University.
Karsten Lentz
Managing Director, Euroports Germany
Managing Director ad interim, Euroports Finland
Karsten Lentz has served as the Managing Director of Euroports Germany since 2016, with direct P&L responsibility for all Euroports activities and assets in the region. Prior to this, he held positions as Operations Director and Commercial Director for Euroports Germany.
With over 20 years of proven expertise in port logistics and general management, Karsten joined Euroports in 2013 through the acquisition of Seehafen Rostock Umschlagsgesellschaft, where he was General Manager for grain and fertilizer terminals and oversaw the Controlling, Procurement, and IT departments. Earlier in his career, he transitioned into the ports and logistics sector from the consulting firm ECOVIS in 2001.
Karsten holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Rostock, Germany.
Krasimir Kostov
Managing Director of Sals AD, Bulgaria
Krasimir Kostov has been the Managing Director of Sals AD, a Euroports Group member in Varna, Bulgaria, since 2022. He holds direct P&L responsibility for all activities and assets at Sals AD, which provides logistics services, including quarry operations, warehousing, transportation, and packing for fertilizer customers.
Krasimir joined Sals AD in 2004 as Operational Manager for the quarry and was promoted to Operative Manager in 2018.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Varna Free University, Bulgaria.
Olivier Ruth
Managing Director, Euroports France
Olivier Ruth was appointed Managing Director of Euroports France in 2021. He is responsible for operations at Port-La Nouvelle, including the establishment and management of the Eolic terminal. He also oversees the expansion of Euroports’ market and operations across France.
Olivier has extensive experience in transport infrastructure, having previously served as Deputy General Secretary of a motorway network concession company. Prior to joining Euroports, he was Director for Africa at SEA-invest Group. He also has maritime experience, having served as an officer in the French National Navy.
Olivier graduated from the École du Commissariat de la Marine and holds a postgraduate degree in Law from the University of Paris II-Assas.
Pablo Garcia
Managing Director, Euroports Mediterranean
Pablo Garcia has been the Managing Director of Euroports Iberica since 2016, where he holds direct P&L responsibility for all Euroports activities and assets. Pablo joined Euroports Iberica in 2003 as Finance Manager before moving to the Group M&A team in London in 2010.
In 2013, he was appointed Group Operational Excellence Director, leading initiatives across multiple countries where Euroports operates. Prior to Euroports, Pablo held leadership roles in IT at companies such as Borges Group and Innova Holding.
Pablo is an engineer with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has completed an Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Rudi Hanot
Managing Director, Euroports Belgium
Rudi Hanot has been with Euroports since 2013 and was appointed Managing Director of Euroports Belgium in April 2024. He previously held roles including Director of Engineering and Operations for Euroports Group and Business Director Bulk at Euroports Belgium. In his current role, Rudi oversees strategic, commercial, and operational activities, driving growth with a focus on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
Before joining Euroports, Rudi held senior positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Philips, and Air Liquide, including Global Director of Supply Chain at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Rudi holds an MBA from Vlerick Business School, a Black Belt in Lean from Ghent University, a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Spécialisées in Management Logistics and Transport Engineering from the University of Villeneuve d’Ascq, France, and a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Hasselt.
Stéphane Jaumot
Managing Director, Euroports Inland Terminals
Stéphane Jaumot became Managing Director of Euroports Inland Terminals in 2019, implementing a dynamic strategy for management and development after decades of family ownership in the Wallonia region’s inland operations.
With over 30 years of experience in international transport and logistics, Stéphane has worked for the United Nations in transport logistics in Africa and Asia and held general management roles with national railways and regional rail concessions, mainly in Africa and South America.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
